Casa particular Casa Merici offers an apartment that consists of three rooms and two bathrooms - all perfectly equipped - a dining room, a balcony with a view of the street, foyer, interior walkway, kitchen. The apartment is on the third floor of the building. It has a welcoming terrace that offers lots of privacy where one can relax. Casa particular Merici is very near the University. Just a couple of minutes walking. The casa is 5 blocks from the Habana Libre (Hilton) and of the famous ice cream shop Copelia. The Hotel Vedado and Hotel National are also only a few blocks away.
Within a 15 to 20 minutes walk you will find the Plaza of the Revolution, the National Library.
Due to it's central location you are just a couple of blocks from the Malacon can be seen - great pictures! - from the casa. My husband and I attend to the needs of our guests and we offer them the meal service and laundry service if they want it. Guests can utilize the kitchen without problems. they have the use of the phone (local calls).
We basically rent out one air-conditioned room, with private bath, shower (hot and cold water 24/7). If needed up to four rooms with similar characteristics can be arranged.
The apartment is a haven of tranquility, no disturbing noises and lots of privacy.
Located between two of the main avenues of Havana and centrally in the capital it is very easy to.
The common areas of the house are at your disposal. You will find it has a television set, audio system and a good fan to keep you cool. You are welcome to receive your visitors there.
Prices: CUC 25 per room per night. Breakfast: 3 CUC per person.
Meals: cost depends on the menu (on average 10 CUC)
